When to drop off your car

Tag is independent. It is not part of, or affiliated with, Bournemouth Airport or Ryanair.

When you book, you choose a drop-off time of 2¾ hours, 2 hours or 1½ hours before your departure. The latest drop-off slot Tag offers is 1½ hours (90 minutes) before your departure.

Your airline sets its check-in and bag-drop closing times; they are on your booking and in the airline's app. Getting to check-in and bag drop in time is between you and your airline.

Drop-off usually takes 5-10 minutes. Allow 10-15 minutes before you need to check in.

Early Ryanair departures

The earliest drop-off Tag offers is 04:00. A slot that would fall before 04:00 on the day of the flight becomes 04:00.

For Ryanair's earliest departure in the period, 06:30, the drop-off slots are:

• 04:00 (the 2¾-hour slot would fall before 04:00, so it becomes 04:00)
• 04:30 (2 hours before)
• 05:00 (1½ hours before)

You drive to the Drop Off Car Park at Bournemouth Airport at your booked time. A Tag driver meets you, checks the car and takes the keys. You then go straight to check-in. See how meet and greet works for the full steps.

When you land

Tag monitors your flight's arrival time, so you do not need to call. When you land, a Tag driver meets you in the arrivals hall, or where you dropped off the car, at the Drop Off Car Park.

If your flight is delayed, Tag adjusts at no extra charge.
