How meet and greet parking works at Bournemouth Airport

The service in short

Tag Parking is independent meet-and-greet parking at Bournemouth Airport (BOH). You hand your keys to a Tag driver at the airport, and the driver parks your car for you. Tag is not part of, or affiliated with, Bournemouth Airport.

Step by step

1. Book and choose a drop-off slot. Book online, by phone on 01202 798710, or by email. You give your name, contact details, vehicle registration, flight information and payment. You then choose a drop-off (meet) time of 2¾ hours, 2 hours or 1½ hours before your departure. The earliest drop-off is 04:00, and a slot that would fall before 04:00 becomes 04:00. The latest slot Tag offers is 1½ hours (90 minutes) before departure.
2. Get your confirmation. Your booking confirmation email arrives within minutes of payment. It has the meeting point details.
3. Drive to the Drop Off Car Park. Arrive at your booked meet time. A Tag driver meets you there. Our staff wear Tag clothing.
4. Do the handover check. The driver does a quick vehicle condition check and takes photographs. The car's mileage is recorded at drop-off and again when you collect it. The driver takes your keys and you head straight to check-in. Drop-off takes about 5-10 minutes, so allow 10-15 minutes before you need to check in.
5. Your car is parked. Tag drives it to a secure, insured off-airport facility, under two miles each way. The facility has 24/7 CCTV and secure perimeter fencing. We do not disclose the exact location for security reasons. The car is not moved from the facility during your trip.
6. Fly. There is no need to call Tag when you return.
7. Meet your driver on return. Tag monitors your flight's arrival time. When you land, a Tag driver meets you in the arrivals hall, or where you dropped off the car, at the Drop Off Car Park. That car park is about a 1-minute walk from the arrivals hall. Collection usually takes 2-3 minutes once the driver arrives with your car.
8. Check the car. Look it over before you leave the airport. Report any damage straight away. Claims must be reported within 24 hours of collection.

If your flight is delayed

Tag monitors flights on Flight Radar, so we know when you land. If your flight is delayed, we adjust at no extra charge.

Check-in times

Your airline sets its check-in and bag-drop closing times; they are on your booking and in the airline's app. Getting to check-in and bag drop in time is between you and your airline.

Booking cut-offs

Same-day drop-offs cannot be booked online. Online bookings for a next-day drop-off close at 17:00 UK time. From 17:01 the earliest drop-off the website accepts is the day after tomorrow. Bookings the website cannot take can be made by phone on 01202 798710 during office hours (7 days a week, 07:00 to 23:00), subject to availability.

What to bring

• Your booking reference number
• Your vehicle keys, including any spare keys
• Your driving licence
• Any access codes for your vehicle

Remove all valuables from the car, including cash, cards, jewellery, electronics and important documents. Everyday items such as child seats can stay. Tag is not liable for items left in the vehicle.

If you are running late

Call the number in your booking confirmation straight away. It is also answered 24/7 for emergencies on the day of travel. We will do our best to fit you in, but additional charges may apply for extended waiting times.

If you do not meet the driver and do not contact us within 30 minutes of your meeting time, it counts as a no-show and no refund is due.
